| Education |
• mechanical aptitude and machining background without license
• 3 years+ experience in mechanical and machining applications
• Knowledge of operating CNC and manual lathes (set-up / operation), using precision measuring instruments
• Knowledge of EDM machine operation, welding, or carpentry an asset
• WHMIS training
• Forklift operation experience
• Organizational skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Solid communication skills – written and verbal
• Willingness to ‘jump in’ wherever needed

| Duties / Responsibilities |
- Build products / mechanical parts
- Assemble repair work and document
- Operate dynamic balance and document results
- Operate EDM
- Repair and dress castings
- Dismantle, inspect and assess repair work and document findings
- Receive incoming shipments
- Work with lead Technicians to develop scope of work required for repairs
- Make wood shipping crates for shipping out re-worked product
- General housekeeping as necessary
