• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering OR Licensed Millwright OR equivalent hands-on experience
• 5 years+ experience in a similar role in manufacturing environment
• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience using wrenches, hammers, drills, other tools
• Proficient in troubleshooting techniques to solve machine issues

| Duties / Responsibilities |
- SHIFT ROTATION: Days (2 weeks), Afternoons (2 weeks), Nights (2 weeks)
- Serve as a key technical maintenance resource for the manufacturing operation, focusing on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and problem resolution for electronic / mechanical equipment issues
- Work with a continuous improvement mindset to reduce cost, breakdowns, and wastage
- Provide expertise and knowledge when required to Operators, Lead Hands, Supervisors, Managers
- Maintain adherence to GMP/AIB, Health and Safety standards and company regulations
- Assembling and installing machines ; test to make sure they are working correctly
- Managing the layout and placement of equipment and machinery in factory settings to ensure minimum downtime
- Perform inspections and lock-out procedures as required
