- Degree or Diploma with education in Chemistry, Engineering or related field
- 10 yrs+ of quality assurance experience
- 5 years of supervisory / management experience
- Prior experience from sectors with chemical applications (i.e paints, coatings, adhesives, cosmetics, personal care products, etc.)
- Ability to interact and work with others in a productive and professional manner
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Confident and self-directed
- Commitment to meeting deadlines, take initiative and solve problems consistently
- Knowledge of MS Office applications

| Duties / Responsibilities |
- Responsible for leading and managing Quality Management Systems (OMS) and Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Document, analyze, improve, and report on product and system non-conformances and customer issues
- Lead and manage the QMS ensuring compliance with current standards
- Lead and manage internal and external QMS audits
- Document, analyze, improve and report on Customer Issues (CIs), Non-conformances (NCRs), and Return of Goods (RGA) processes, identifying trends, opportunities for improvement, and leading issue resolution
- Lead and manage Product Certification Programs such as FloorScore, Greengard and Cradle2Cradle
- Communicate with Department Managers on continuous quality improvement initiatives related to departmental and company objectives
- Employ analytical tools, such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA), to resolve quality issues and deliver corrective and preventive actions
