| Duties / Responsibilities |
Purpose and Scope:
The Production Manager is responsible for both day-to-day production operations within all production departments as well as weekly & monthly area performance including, output, labour productivity and quality.
- Execution of weekly Production schedule, overtime management, and productivity.
- Cost savings through operating efficiencies.
- Develop and implement plans to achieve efficient use materials, labour and equipment to meet production targets.
Health & Safety
- Ensure a safe work environment complying with Federal and Provincial Regulations.
- Ensure that Human Resources Manager is included In HR matters when necessary.
- Recognize the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
- Recognize the Health and Safety Policies/Procedures
Required Skills / Attributes:
University Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
!0 Years direct experience in manufacturing.
Experience in MRP and Microsoft Office.
