- Industrial Millwright (433A) certification - Inter Provincial / Red Seal OR Ontario
- Certificate of Millwright Apprenticeship an asset
- 5 yrs+ in an automated industrial production environment performing mechanical maintenance of plant equipment
- 2 yrs minimum experience in maintenance in a food processing environment
- Competent using SMAW (MIG) and GTAW (TIG) welding processes
- Good knowledge of oral and written English and Mathematics
- Working knowledge of OHSA standards and regulations
- Any PLC troubleshooting or program editing experience an asset
- Good attention to detail, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Good troubleshooting and problem solving skills

Duties / Responsibilities |
- SHIFT HOURS: 2:30pm to 11:00pm Mon. to Fri.
- Provide support in troubleshooting / repairs and system improvements (optimization) to ensure quality and efficiency
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures; identify replacement parts
- Assist on-site contractors as required
- Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) on all equipment as required
- Document and maintain details of inspections
- Participate in ongoing cross-training, multi-skilling activities within the organization
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency in achieving results
- Ensure that all operator safety devices function properly on completion of repairs, modifications and installations
- Know and understand process documentation and customer specific requirements, as they relate to this job function
- Install, align, dismantle and move industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, furnaces, and generators according to layout plans using hand and power tools
- Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as forklifts, jacks and handling equipment to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up, repair of machinery
- Operate machine tools such as grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery
- Rebuild and/or overhaul machinery and equipment as required
