Production Process Technician /Engineer – Manufacturing -CNC Machining / Assembly

Purpose:
Primary responsibility will be to work with the Operation Teams in evaluating the workflow processes for the delivery of quality parts on time. (Scheduling & Planning/Engineering/ Manufacturing)
- Diploma, Degree, or Technician experienced in Manufacturing Processes.
- Five years’ experience in manufacturing – (CNC machine shop fabrication, assembly environment preferred).
- Experience with ISO programs
- Experience with Autodesk Inventor, BOM, (Knowledge of Virtual Infor an asset).
- Knowledge of machine shop, fabrication and assembly procedures and processes.
- Attend continuous improvement and other related meetings
- Understand and follow policies/procedures of Quality and Health & Safety.
- Assist in preparation of costing and production Budgets.
- Take corrective action to expedite customer requirements.
- Attend continuous improvement and other related meetings
- Gather technical details for quote preparation
- Review & update ENG Masters and Part Masters to ensure accuracy.
- Contribute to document maintenance.
- Create / update existing processes.
- Manage the timelines of internal / external manufacturing processes.
- Act as Liaison between Scheduling & Planning
