Position Millwright Maintenance Team Lead (2 reports)

    Industrial Millwright, Certified with supervisory experience. Day Shift
Duties / Responsibilities
    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct employee performance evaluations and initiate appropriate actions
  • Ensure all machinery is repaired in a timely manner emphasizing up-time and follow-up to completion per key performance indicators assigned.
  • Establish and maintain an existing preventative maintenance program on all existing equipment as well as any new equipment received utilizing FIIX software.
  • Ensure adequate spare parts and supplies are available to affect swift and immediate repair to current production machinery. Dispose of obsolete maintenance, supplier & spare parts in a timely manner to maintain maintenance area organization/cleanliness. Maintain an asset database/file for each piece of current production equipment.
  • Promote safety and safe working habits throughout the plant.
  • Keep staff adequately educated in regard to any new equipment or technology.
  • Complete new asset checklists in a timely manner for new equipment.
  • Research and offer recommendations for purchases of new production related equipment.
  • Ensure all records and paperwork are retained to company standards.
  • Accountable for the health and safety of employees under their supervision by; ensuring that machinery and equipment are safe, making sure that employees work in compliance with established safe work practices and procedures and providing adequate training for employees in specific work tasks to help reduce or eliminate the risk of workplace injuries.
  • Maintain lockout procedures on equipment.
  • Monitor and appraise the performance of staff in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
  • Provide leadership and coaching to direct reporting employees.
  • Delivering Corrective Action as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Keep the General Manager aware of all significant occurrences and exposure.
  • Maintain relevant ISO requirements and procedures.
  • Provide support to engineering and management on special projects.
  • Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental policies.
  • Ensure that all business activities are performed with highest ethical standards and in compliance with company code of business conduct and in accordance to the company Confidentiality Policy and Security Policy.
Location Princeton, Ontario
Pay Range $40. to $43. Per hour (Starting rate) Benefit Package
