- Licensed Millwright an asset but not a requirement
- Mechanical Engineering Diploma or related certifications
- 5 yrs+ experience in mechanical maintenance in an industrial environment
- Knowledge of systems maintenance including mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic components, motors; any electrical / electronics knowledge an asset
- Ability to operate CNC machinery and technical equipment
- Ability to MIG and TIG weld an asset
- Ability to problem solve and work independently with little direction
- Ability to lift and/or move heavy equipment
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations

| Duties / Responsibilities |
- Work with senior Technician to install, repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance
- Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation
- Dismantle machinery and remove / replace defective parts
- Determine changes in requirements of parts by inspecting and measuring various instruments
- Maintain inventories of equipment parts and supplies by checking stock and placing orders
- Train production workers on routine preventive maintenance
- Provide mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests
- Prepare a detailed preventive maintenance program including parts inventories and budgets
