| Duties / Responsibilities |
- Oversee Guelph location (4 d/wk) + Kitchener plant (1 d/wk) + Windsor plant (1 d/month)
- Achieve manufacturing objectives associated with business unit strategy by optimizing available resources
- Apply business processes and establish an effective communication system with employees (floor rounds, logbooks, etc.)
- Participate in the implementation of processes, practices and tools specific to the unit, working towards optimizing operational efficiency, operating costs, production capacity and quality
- Build a mobilized and competent team and support their production efforts
- Nurture a culture of Continuous Improvement and Health & Safety
- Ensure safety of employees and a safe environment free of risks
- Engage and develop employees
- Actively participate in the creation and implementation of optimization and investment projects
- Business unit strategic planning
