Position General Manager - Uxbridge

    • Post-secondary education in Engineering, Finance or Business • Minimum 10 yrs of experience in a senior leadership capacity in manufacturing sector • Experience with automotive sector an asset • Good background in Lean / Continuous Improvement methodologies and handling change management • Experienced with scheduling, cost reduction, and managing financials • Pragmatic, process-oriented and relationship-focused • Results-driven • Proven successful strategic planning and continuous improvement background • Problem solving and critical thinking skills
Duties / Responsibilities
  • Lead the organization’s development, future growth and execution of strategic plans
  • Lead the organization and enhance effectiveness and profitability and achieve cost reduction in all areas
  • Lead the organization to achieve improved pre-tax profitability
  • Financial responsibility including budgets and forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and legislation
  • Overall responsibility including engineering, manufacturing, quality, finance, human resources and sales
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators to operational budget and ensure operational goals are being achieved
  • Assess equipment, operational capacity and opportunity for growth based on a strong understanding of market data and able to lead customer discussions when needed
  • Ensure product and service delivery excellence
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators to operational budget and ensure that operational goals are achieved
  • Provide leadership on performance management, training and development of support staff, and recruitment initiatives
  • Develop and lead continuous improvement initiatives to deliver business and operational excellence to customer base
  • Develop departmental budgets

Pay Range $120K to $160K + benefits
