- Mold Maker or Tool & Die trade license
- 5 yrs+ of mold and/or tool making experience
- Ability to deal promptly with tooling, quality and productivity issues
- Good communication skills – written and verbal
- Computer skills in MS Word, Excel

Duties / Responsibilities |
- Service / Repair / Diagnose tooling, ensuring following of safety standards (lock-out of power sources, wearing required PPE, etc.)
- Ensure tooling/equipment is functioning properly after making adjustments/repair/maintenance before releasing to Manufacturing
- Lock-Out faulty equipment and ensure tooling is appropriately tagged and advise Shift Supervisor / Team Leader
- Manufacture of tooling, fixtures and other devices as needed and assure through maintenance of same that they are functioning to allow production of products for customers
- Be aware of the quality standards required for the product related to the tooling being serviced and/or built
- As a member of the Engineering Department, promote improvements that are more efficient and maintain safety standards (could include elimination of scrap, improvement of cycle time, etc.)
- Follow good housekeeping standards and keep a safe and tidy work environment
- Ensure that machinery, tooling or other work areas being serviced by you are left clean and organized
- Ensure all machines, lights and pneumatic sources that are not required at the end of shift are shut off
- Ensure that all records, logs, and reports of repairs and maintenance are kept accurately and up to date and communicated to others as needed
