- Mechanical or Electrical maintenance knowledge
- Knowledge in robotics and automated weld processes
- Automotive manufacturing experience an asset
- Experience in root cause analysis, troubleshooting, electrical, PLCs, robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics, nut welding / projection welding
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Leadership experience

| Duties / Responsibilities |
- Mentor technical services staff and facilitate growth of knowledge and skills through collaboration and team building
- Support and champion company goals (i.e OEE improvements, 5S, quality, etc.)
- Co-ordinate maintenance activities between technical staff and contractors
- Support technical staff in troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Help foster proper escalation during significant downtime events
- Attend meetings and facilitate the flow of information from shift to shift
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager
