Education |
- Red Seal Electrician license (442A or 309A)
- Refrigeration Operator Class B ticket an asset
- 5 yrs+ experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food industry
- Experience working with A/B-PLCs and VFDs
- Experience working with Fanuc robots an asset
- Knowledge of TPM (Total Productive Manufacturing) an asset
- Able to perform skills required of the trade while obeying safety and GMP rules

Duties / Responsibilities |
- Perform electrical preventative maintenance functions to keep production and electrical equipment operational
- Respond quickly to any calls from production to keep electrical equipment operational and ensure production runs smoothly
- Receive and complete electrical work orders as well as preventative maintenance work orders when assigned by maintenance team leader
- Sign and date all completed work orders and PMs; record all problems or observations that should be brought to the attention of the team leader
- Make sure all food safety standards are followed
- Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic failures on various types of machines
- Select, install, and repair busways, flexible and rigid conduit, cable trough wire, and communication wires
- Read, interpret and revise ladder logic, distribution, and fluid power drawings
- Work in a safe and efficient manner
