- Red Seal Industrial Electrician license (442A) or Construction & Maintenance license (309A)
- Electrical Engineering Degree or Diploma an asset
- 5 yrs+ experience in a maintenance role in an industrial environment
- Experience with AC/DC Drives, Relay Logic, RS Logix 500 and Control Logix programming
- Able to read and understand blueprints
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills required
- Able to work at heights and in confined spaces

| Duties / Responsibilities |
- SHIFT: Continental Day / Night rotation – 7:00 to 7:00 (1 week DAYS, 1 week NIGHTS)
- Maximize plant performance through troubleshooting, repair and upgrade electrical equipment
- Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, lighting fixtures and other electrical components such as switches, relays, circuit breakers and fuse disconnects
- Troubleshoot, repair and maintain industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices
- Work with computers, AC/DC drives, HMIs, and PLCs
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications
- Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records
- Maintain spare parts inventory
- Work closely with Operations and Mechanical Maintenance personnel
- Plan and oversee testing and calibration of electrical and electronic equipment and tools on a scheduled basis
- Comply with internal and corporate policies, procedures, and regulations with respect to Health & Safety
- Respond to emergency situations as necessary
- Maintain safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
