- Minimum Grade 12 education
- Electrician license (Industrial 442A OR Construction & Maintenance 309A)
- 5 yrs+ experience in a mechanical maintenance role in an industrial environment
- Electrical maintenance and PLC experience
- Must have experience performing preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment
- Able to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and manufacturer’s manuals to determine how a problem is to be approached
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills required
- Good communication and interpersonal skills required

| Duties / Responsibilities |
- Responsible for electrical repairs including installing, maintaining and repairing equipment within the plant
- Ensure equipment within the plant is regularly serviced and operating at maximum safe production levels
- Operate necessary equipment / tools to perform repairs
- Perform Electrical PM activities as outlined on all equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety
- Track completed work through a CMMS (labour hours, parts, repair comments, etc.)
- Work closely with plant personnel on troubleshooting and problem solving initiatives
- Participate in Lock-Out verification programs
- Complete relevant PM paperwork
- Perform any other reasonable duties as required or assigned by Management
