- Industrial Millwright license (433A) – Red Seal or Ontario
- Minimum Grade 12 education
- 5 yrs+ experience in a mechanical maintenance role in an industrial environment
- Must have experience performing preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment
- Competency with pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, etc.
- Able to read and understand blueprints, specifications
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills required
- Good communication and interpersonal skills required
- Able to communicate effectively with peers and managers
- Able to work effectively independently or in a team
- Able to create material lists and provide input on most efficient install options for equipment and perform the installs
- Strong safety orientation and ability to follow proper safety procedures (i.e Lock-Out / Tag-Out, etc.) with a ‘do it right the first time’ mentality
- Self-sufficient and team oriented
- Computer literate - MS Office
- Driver’s license (G1) / willing to go between plants periodically if needed for support purposes (company /km reimbursement provided)
- Willing and able to work assigned shift

| Duties / Responsibilities |
- Responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment within the plant
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment and share knowledge of applicable mechanical concepts with other maintenance personnel
- Respond quickly to calls from production to keep equipment operational and ensure production runs smoothly
- Perform Mechanical PM activities as scheduled and report results
- Communicate effectively with outside vendors and equipment manufacturers
- Work in a safe and efficient manner
- Keep work area clean & orderly
- Periodic on-call support of nearby second plant (2 km)
- Perform any other reasonable duties as required or assigned by Management
