Position Maintenance Electrician - Night Shift - Stratford

Education
  • Red Seal / Inter Provincial Industrial Electrician (422A) license or C&M (309A) license
  • 3 years+ experience in electrical maintenance in industrial environments
  • Strong electrical, electronic, and PLC background
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Able to work efficiently under pressure
  • Eager to learn new skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and a team player with a safety-first attitude
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills as well as commissioning experience
  • Computer literate in MS Word and Excel
  • Willing and able to work assigned shift and overtime as required
Duties / Responsibilities
  • Perform all relevant PM, troubleshooting and Kaizen activities for existing, new, updated or modified equipment and systems
  • Update and maintain the computerized maintenance management system ensuring reliable recording and data tracking for all activities covering production, auxiliary and facilities equipment including the building fabric and utilities
  • Support all other departments where required through training of other team members on new, updated or modified equipment and systems
  • Coordination and implementation of all ESA and PSR requirements
  • Provide sufficient coverage during periods of vacation, absenteeism and sickness within the Maintenance Department, specifically for electricians
  • Adopt a flexible working approach responding to out of hours emergencies and working additional hours where required to complete designated tasks within the required timeframes
  • Update and maintain all electrical and programming documents for both existing and new equipment
  • Accept all required training and travel requirements to maintain the anticipated standards the role demands and to ensure progression within the role
  • All other duties and requests as deemed necessary by the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Maintenance Manager to further enhance the Maintenance Departments function and ACI’s operation as a whole
  • Promote and complete Kaizen based activities
  • Promote good working practices in line with industry standards and demonstrate compliance with all required Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality requirements
  • Ensure adherence to all other ACI policies, procedures and required legislative practices
