Position Millwright - 3-shift rotation - Woodbridge
Job Type Permanent
Education
  • Industrial Millwright (433A) certification
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a mechanical maintenance role in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with automated machinery
  • Must have experience performing preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment
  • Able to implement continuous improvements to equipment and associated processes
  • Effective communication skills - both written and oral
  • Self-starter who requires minimal direction with strong organization skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to perform hands-on maintenance duties, problem solve solutions, adjust machinery and repair / replace defective parts
  • Highly motivated
  • Great self-discipline
  • Able to adapt to changes in production demands / environment
  • Able to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Computer literate - MS Office and CMMS
  • Willing and able to work assigned shift and overtime as required
Duties / Responsibilities
  • Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements on motors, conveyor systems, and production machinery
  • Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measurement and testing instruments
  • Control downtime by informing production workers of routine maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance
  • Work to improve machine efficiency, reduce scrap, and improve quality of product / processes
  • Maintain effective equipment maintenance schedules and records on company equipment and tools
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Perform various other maintenance functions as assigned

Pay Range $33.30/hr + benefits
