- Knowledge of boilers, steam generating equipment and auxiliaries
- Knowledge of waste water treatment operations
- Experience with SAP an asset
- Food processing knowledge an asset
- Ability to make sound decisions quickly
- Ability to function effectively in a fast paced environment

| Duties / Responsibilities |
- Manage all site utility consumption and lead a group of powerhouse and waste water treatment operators in the daily operation of the facility ensuring compliance with local regulations
- Be a champion for continuous improvement for the reduction of the organization’s environmental footprint
- Manage energy consumption and tracking for the facility
- Verify usage for utility bill payments
- Assist in the planning of the Capex budget
- Manage the completion of capital projects related to powerhouse or waste water with focus on sustainability commitments
- Responsible for month end utility and chemical usage reporting
- Develop and implement energy reduction strategies
