- CWB Certified in Stick (SMAW), MIG, or Flux-Core (all positions)
- 2 yrs+ related experience in a custom fabrication environment
- Prior field weld service / support experience a strong asset
- Experience in heavy industry / aggregate industry a bonus
- Experience working on conveyors, mechanical and structural components, heavy equipment repair, all assets
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications
- Experience operating metal shaping machines such as brake presses, shears, and other metal straightening and bending machines an asset
- Good communication skills - verbal and written
- Ability to follow safe work practices; any Health and Safety training an asset
- Good attendance and safety record
- Drivers License and clean driving record
