Position Sales Account Manager - Toronto

Education
  • Post secondary education, preferably in business administration or related but open to considering all
  • Sales training and/or certifications a definite asset
  • 5 years+ experience in business development and/or sales management in an automotive parts manufacturing setting
  • Extensive knowledge of automotive parts manufacturing industry
  • Knowledge of metal parts production is an asset
  • Demonstrated negotiating and closing skills
  • Proven skills in developing and implementing new business initiatives
  • Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience in developing long-term client relationships and cross-selling through delivering creative, entrepreneurial solutions
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time, including outside of Canada
Duties / Responsibilities
  • Responsible for interacting with established customers to drive new opportunities and maintain current business
  • Manage all aspects of the customer relationships with a target to increase sales volume, product mix and profit margin
  • Manage account relationships, provide sales support and prepare / present quotations
  • Build, maintain and strengthen relationships with customers by understanding their objectives, strategy and relationship
  • Collaborate with all customer levels to co-design new products and give presentations on technical capabilities
  • Work with Marketing to analyze market data, identify opportunities, product initiatives and market prices
  • Build on the company’s profile and reputation to grow market share into new territories and key accounts
  • Keep up to date on industry trends, technologies and advancements
  • Ensure correct usage of CRM software and other sales applications

Pay Range up to $95K + bonus
