- Industrial Millwright or Electrician certification - Inter Provincial / Red Seal
- 5 yrs+ industrial maintenance experience in a production environment, including supervisory / management experience
- prior experience in a unionized environment
- prior experience in a food production facility an asset
- strong equipment overhaul, machining, pneumatics, hydraulics, piping knowledge required
- medium to heavy equipment, automated packaging, refrigeration, and steam equipment experience
- excellent troubleshooting, adjusting, or repair of new or existing equipment experience
- familiar with electrical, Health & Safety, CFIA/USDA statutory regulations

| Duties / Responsibilities |
- Frontline supervision of single and dual ticket trades as well as trades without licenses
- Look after mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance of the plant
- Perform cross functionally into other disciplines as able/required
- Troubleshoot and rebuild production equipment as required
- Oversee the maintenance staff day-to-day equipment and process challenges
- Planning, leading, organizing, controlling emergency, corrective and preventive maintenance
- Conduct work to the satisfaction of key performance indicators: reduced downtime, maintenance budget, safety scorecard
- Work towards ensuring optimum equipment uptime and reliability
- Develop and implement Preventive / Predictive maintenance program
