- College Diploma (minimum) ; University Degree preferred
- 7 yrs+ progressive experience in a 24/7 fast-paced manufacturing environment
- 4 yrs+ experience as a Production Supervisor
- Strong mechanical aptitude, equipment and process knowledge
- Experience leading and growing a team
- Proven use of LEAN tools and initiatives ; Six Sigma Green belt an asset

| Duties / Responsibilities |
- Oversee on shift activities for the production area
- Train, coach and motivate staff to ensure good morale as well as a high level of productivity
- Maintain an accurate staffing level to facilitate production needs
- Implement initiatives aimed at improving processes, safety, and efficiencies while achieving cost reductions
- Performance monitoring and evaluation of all employees, to include corrective counseling, new hires and termination
- Effectively communicate with employees and other shift key personnel
- Oversee workflow based on weekly schedule and collaborate with the Scheduler in determining both staffing requirements and the finite schedule
- Develop, implement and manage departmental goals and objectives
- Work internally and with other departments to ensure an ongoing Continuous Improvement Program
- Engage the workforce and implement / maintain lean tools (5S, SMED, Value Stream mapping, OEE, etc.) in support of the LEAN initiative
