- Certificate of Qualification as an Industrial Electrician (Ontario or Red Seal)
- Knowledge of process control, PLC programming/troubleshooting (preferably RS Logix 5000)
- Knowledge of Electrical Code
- Good mechanical aptitude with understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics would be an asset
- Industrial manufacturing/processing experience a must; plastic processing experience an asset

| Duties / Responsibilities |
- Plan and layout work assignments from complex blueprints, sketches or verbal instructions and accomplish these assignments with maximum efficiency
- Inspect, diagnose, maintain and repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, cable assemblies, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components
- Maintenance of injection molding machines ranging from 390 tons to 2,500 tons
- Competently and safely use all tools and operate all machinery and equipment necessary for the repair and maintenance of equipment
- Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance
- Maintain, repair, and install and test transformers
- Maintain, repair, install and test electrical motors, generators, industrial storage batteries, and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical controls systems
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems and devices
- Conduct preventative maintenance programs and keep accurate maintenance records
