||Lead Designer / Project Engineer/ Air polution control

|Duties / Responsibilities
The Company, located in Mississauga, ON has an immediate opening for a Lead Designer/ Project Engineer. The Lead Designer/Project Engineer will report directly to Engineering Manager. The Lead Designer is expected to perform the following functions:
-Create General Arrangement & Foundation Plan drawings for baghouse, scrubber and other air pollution control equipment including duct-works, support steels and associated structures for complete project.
- Create original design drawings for custom air pollution control equipment with the primary focus being on various types of Fabric Filters that include support steel, duct work, hoods, material handling systems etc.
- Provide detailed drawings of various components associated with air pollution control equipment systems
- Check drawings that have been provided by other designers
- Assist with Sales Proposal drawings
A four year college diploma or degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering is preferred. At least 5 years of experience working with a related equipment manufacturing company or equipment design is mandatory. A strong working knowledge of Fabric Filter systems is also preferred. You must have thorough knowledge of 3D & 2D AutoCad drafting in Advanced Level. A skill test for 3D & 2D AutoCad drafting will be conducted for the prospected candidate.Working knowledge of OSHA, OHSA, AISC, CISC, IBC, OBC, ASME, EPA regulations.
In addition, you are required to have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office & Microsoft Excel program.
