Duties / Responsibilities
    We Offer: A fun and funky atmosphere where individualism is encouraged 50% off all our products so that you feel fresh everyday 50% off a transit program in Toronto and Vancouver (after probationary period) An education in natural ingredients, ethical sourcing, and sustainability The opportunity to participate as an activist in our ethical campaigns An opportunity to travel domestically and internationally A dynamic, fast paced, growing business where personal development is encouraged Your core responsibilities include: Reading diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures Designing and implementing a repairs and maintenance program for all equipment throughout the factory Training production room personnel on basic preventative maintenance as well as cleaning for production equipment Repairing industrial machinery and mechanical equipment Operating hoisting and lifting devices as necessary during the repair of machinery Working independently and with others to solve mechanical and technical problems Knowing when to call in external contractors and supervising them Communicating, persuading, and explaining to others what needs to be done Working accurately with numbers, and on occasion doing basic drawings of machine parts Using welding equipment, hand and power tools as necessary Skills and Experience: Required: 7+ years of relevant experience Basic understanding of refrigeration, low pressure steam and PLCs Working knowledge of single and 3 phase electrical Ability to function in a relatively unstructured and creative environment Ability to intuitively view business situations, with potential results in mind and work to implement those results in an efficient and effective manner Being interested in building processes & procedures to fill current gaps Ability to challenge the status-quo seeking continuous improvement Ability to freely interact with others to help fix problems or to find ways of doing things better Feel engaged with a results focused attitude along with the ability of engaging others Being a team player
Location Vancouver, BC
Pay Range $38-42/hr.
