| Duties / Responsibilities |
Qualifications:
- BSc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited University or equivalent work experience
- A minimum of 2 years Mechanical Design work related experience
- Proficient in CAD/3D Modelling Software to produce product components, assemblies and engineering drawings (Solidworks preferred)
- Working knowledge of manufacturing methods for sheet metal, casting, injection molding and machining.
- Ability to plan and organize projects and manage priorities with an attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to understand complex mathematical relationships that underpin mechanical analysis
- Familiarity with Optics and optical system design with ability to answer questions about light and lenses
- Basic electrical and lighting design knowledge
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
- Working knowledge of GDT
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
