Education |
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- A valid certificate/education in welding
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a welder in MIG/TIG
- Excellent knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs
- Attention to detail

Duties / Responsibilities |
- Read and interpret project plans, blueprints and other written instructions and diagrams to perform task at hand
- Analyse and assess blueprints prior to initial welding for discrepancies
- Daily use of a grinder and band saws to cut, prep, grind, and blend material prior/post weld
- Welding with F.C.A.W., G.M.A.W., G.T.A.W. daily on aluminum, carbon steel, and stainless steel with occasional use of S.M.A.W. on carbon and stainless steel
- Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes
