- Post-secondary education in an electrical, electronics or instrumentation program
- Trade license as an Electrician (309A or 442A) an asset
- 5 yrs+ related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience with A/B PLCs, Siemens/Moore DCS, AC and DC drive systems
- Some Autocad experience preferred
- Effective leadership, communication and organizational skills
- Solid coaching and decision-making skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Knowledgeable of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and possess a strong safety focus
- Proficient in MS Office applications, SAP and CMMS software
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, flexible and able to adapt to change
- Must have or establish residence within 30 minutes of the facility
- Ability to work overtime and be on-call as necessary

| Duties / Responsibilities |
- Lead the Electrical and Instrumentation team members on assigned shift
- Assist Manager with developing and implementing PM programs
- Conduct root cause analyses as well as managing & coordinating PM scheduling
- Provide technical expertise to team members with a focus on optimizing equipment and machinery to meet KOIs
- Ensure plant and facilities are fit for meeting production requirements
- Planning, leading, organizing, controlling emergency, corrective and preventive maintenance
- Conduct work to the satisfaction of key performance indicators: reduced downtime, maintenance budget, safety scorecard
- Work towards ensuring optimum equipment up-time and reliability
- Support divisional and corporate objectives including Health & Safety, productivity, continuous improvement, innovation, quality, waste and 5S
- Other duties as required and a willingness to ‘jump in' where help is needed
