Position Maintenance Supervisor - Days - Trenton

Education
  • Post-secondary education in an electrical, electronics or instrumentation program
  • Trade license as an Electrician (309A or 442A) an asset
  • 5 yrs+ related experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience with A/B PLCs, Siemens/Moore DCS, AC and DC drive systems
  • Some Autocad experience preferred
  • Effective leadership, communication and organizational skills
  • Solid coaching and decision-making skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Knowledgeable of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and possess a strong safety focus
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, SAP and CMMS software
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, flexible and able to adapt to change
  • Must have or establish residence within 30 minutes of the facility
  • Ability to work overtime and be on-call as necessary
Duties / Responsibilities
  • Lead the Electrical and Instrumentation team members on assigned shift
  • Assist Manager with developing and implementing PM programs
  • Conduct root cause analyses as well as managing & coordinating PM scheduling
  • Provide technical expertise to team members with a focus on optimizing equipment and machinery to meet KOIs
  • Ensure plant and facilities are fit for meeting production requirements
  • Planning, leading, organizing, controlling emergency, corrective and preventive maintenance
  • Conduct work to the satisfaction of key performance indicators: reduced downtime, maintenance budget, safety scorecard
  • Work towards ensuring optimum equipment up-time and reliability
  • Support divisional and corporate objectives including Health & Safety, productivity, continuous improvement, innovation, quality, waste and 5S
  • Other duties as required and a willingness to ‘jump in' where help is needed

Pay Range up to $90K to start
