- Manitoba Class 2 Waste Water System Operator Certification AND Manitoba Class 2 Wastewater Collection (WWC) Certification
- will consider those with Class 2 certification from other provinces
- might also consider those with a Waste Water Collection 1 certification with commitment to obtaining a WWC 2
- 5 yrs+ experience in the trade, with preference to those with food industry experience

Duties / Responsibilities |
- SHIFT SCHEDULE: 8 hr 3-shift rotation (day / aft. / night) OR 12 hr continental (day / night rotation) - 3 on / 2 off / 2 on / 3 off, etc.
- shift schedule will change based on manpower schedule / requirements (i.e someone going on vacation, being off, other, etc.)
- Operate, maintain and monitor wastewater treatment processes, equipment and facilities
- Identify and take corrective actions to operating problems in the treatment plant
- Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory and company procedures
- Continuous improvement to the treatment process to ensure a safe return of wastewater to the environment
- Participate in plant equipment repairs and installations
- Carry our oral and printed out work requests and apply corrective measures in a timely fashion utilizing the CMMS (computerized maintenance management sytem)
- General update and housekeeping of pre-treatment plant
- Other duties and tasks as assigned
