- Minimum Grade 12 education
- Industrial Electrician (422A) certification (Red Seal)
- 3 yrs+ experience in a high volume parts manufacturing environment
- Prior experience with maintenance of presses or furnaces an asset
- Must have experience performing preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, conveyors, motors
- Able to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and manufacturer’s manuals to determine how a problem is to be approached
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills required

Duties / Responsibilities |
- SHIFT: Continental Rotation (7 to 7) - day / night
- Responsible for electrical support related to installing, maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment within the plant
- Perform minor mechanical repairs and assist the Millwrights as needed
- Ensure electrical equipment within the plant is regularly serviced and operating at maximum safe production levels
- Operate necessary equipment / tools to perform repairs
- Perform Electrical PM activities as outlined on all equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety
- Track completed work through a CMMS (labour hours, parts, repair comments, etc.)
- Work closely with plant personnel on troubleshooting and problem solving initiatives
- Participate in Lock-Out verification programs
- Complete relevant PM paperwork
