- Post-Secondary Diploma
- 5 yrs+ manufacturing environment experience
- 3 yrs+ production supervision experience
- Experience with plastics (injection, extrusion and/or thermoforming processes)
- Team leader with strong people skills
- Experience with Six Sigma / Lean concepts / principles
- Strong verbal and written English language skills
- Good leadership and problem solving skills
- Effective organizational skills

| Duties / Responsibilities |
SHIFT: Continental Nights - Monday to Friday only - 7:30pm to 7:30am
- Assign and delegate jobs according to priority
- Instruct workers in safety, including the use of PPE, maintaining proper housekeeping, recognizing unsafe work conditions, etc.
- Ensure that accurate shift reports are completed
- Ensure that First-Off / Last-Off and once per shift checks are completed at each work station
- Meet quality and quantity requirements of shift production schedules
- Maintain accurate scrap counts
- Report problems with machines and request assistance from Maintenance as required
- Follow up on repairs and maintenance
- Record attendance and timekeeping
- Conduct Employee Performance Appraisals
- Encourage and promote positive feedback and suggestions from Operators
- Ensure only trained, qualified Employees operate machinery and equipment, etc.
- Enforce company and safety rules, document violations and propose necessary disciplinary actions
