Education |
- Industrial Electrician (442A) license
- Completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship program
- Extensive knowledge of ESA codes are an asset
- 3 yrs+ of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of dry offset printing process, quality and process / product interactions is preferred
- Ability to read, interpret and revise relay and ladder logic, power distribution drawings and documentations
- Ability to install, maintain and troubleshoot AC/DC motors, drives, sensors and detectors
- Knowledge of terminology and operation of PLC-based control systems

Duties / Responsibilities |
- Responsible for supporting daily manufacturing electrical operations of printing machines
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities that provide manufacturing reliability and productivity; implement program changes, participate in improvement projects
- Provide day-to-day technical support to enable achievement of production targets and Printing Department objectives
- Ensure company objectives for product regulatory standards for food safety and quality procedures
- Install, maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, instrumentation
- Record issues and document work in logbook and follow up on logbook items with other Electricians
- Take ownership and lead resolution of escalated day to day electrical problems using problem solving methodology
- Attend and communicate electrical issues and information at shift changeover meetings
- Provide feedback to Printing Maintenance Supervisor on the compliance to processes and procedures
