- Engineering or other applicable technical post-secondary education
- 5 years+ experience with profile extrusions and tooling
- Understanding of polymers and rheology OR over 10 yrs experience working with a variety of thermoplastic resins
- Knowledge of designing extrusion tooling from part drawings
- Experience with Autocad and / or Solid Works
- Knowledge of EDM machine operation
- Entrepreneurial spirit and 'can-do' attitude
- Any production supervision or leadership experience an asset
- Effective communication skills, written and oral - preferably both in French and English languages

| Duties / Responsibilities |
- Support tooling / design and product development
- Design extrusion tool based on part drawing and thermoplastic resin required as per customer information (simple face plate dies, dies with calibrators, multi-cavity dies, die for co-extrusion or tri-extrusion, etc.)
- Fine tune tools after they are cut to ensure dimensions required by the customer are accurate
- Put tool on Extruder, run it and convey any adjustments required to Tool Maker
- Use knowledge of profile extrusion and tooling in the course of daily duties
