- Engineering Diploma - preferably Mechanical, Industrial, or related
- CQE designation an asset
- 2 yrs+ experience in automotive supplier management, ideally in an assembly-based environment
- Ability to lead and train others
- Experience in core tools - FMEA, PQCT, PPAP, APQP, 5P, Gauge R&R, Poke Yoke, Kaizen
- Strong background in reading and interpretation of engineering drawings
- Knowledge of internal auditing
- Demonstrated technical aptitude

| Duties / Responsibilities |
- NOTE: primarily Day Shift but working one Afternoon Shift every 4 weeks is REQUIRED
- Drive supplier and sub-supplier performance to include identifying and driving supplier process improvements, Root Cause Analysis, and Corrective Action activities, 5P, TTR's, RCAs, etc.
- Drive Continuous Improvement activities at suppliers to include product quality, cycle, and delivery performance through use of standard metrics, Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma, and SPC methodology
- Provide technical guidance to suppliers in order to ensure product and process compliance to drawings and specifications
- Drive supplier process change control for the supply base to ensure no defects escape to it's customers
- Maintain sufficient knowledge of all ISO Procedures, both 9000 and 14001
