  • Engineering Degree or Diploma - Electrical preferred but will consider others
  • 7 yrs+ progressive experience in a 24/7 fast-paced manufacturing environment with demonstrated progression through various levels of management and responsibilities
  • Experience managing multiple areas of a manufacturing environment including production, warehouse, operations and facilities
  • Demonstrated people management capability in an organization employing 500+ associates with a track record of building human capital
  • Team building skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Successful track record of driving and leading organizational change, implementing lean and continuous improvement principles, and delivering net productivity improvements
  • Very strong analytical capabilities
  • Working knowledge in a consumer packaged goods environment an asset
Duties / Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of compounding and finished goods production in alignment with the manufacturing strategy and annual operating plans
  • Ensure operational standards for total quality, service, cost, delivery, environmental, health and safety are met while maintaining current GMP requirements
  • Develop and drive positive cultural change in compounding and production via clear operations performance improvement plans and confident leadership
  • Interface with Planning, QA, and R&D in ensuring customer expectations are managed
  • Leverage manufacturing capacity, capabilities and best practice
  • Partner with the Director of Lean & CI to drive Lean and Continuous Improvement and ensure all timelines are achieved
  • Direct implementation and execution of the Continuous Improvement process
  • Manage and lead all manufacturing functions under their responsibility in accordance with established corporate & local management policies, procedures and objectives
  • Provide general and specific direction to direct reports in order to meet short and long term business and personal goals
  • Build, develop and manage an operations team capable of executing operations strategies, tactics and annual plans
