- 5 yrs+ in an automated industrial production environment performing mechanical maintenance of plant equipment
- High speed equipment experience an asset (printing, packaging, etc.)
- Good troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Good communication skills - verbal and written
- Ability to follow safe work practices

| Duties / Responsibilities |
SHIFT: Straight Nights (11:00pm to 7:30am)
- Responsible for maintenance, refurbishment and repair of all production equipment and facilities as per system procedures
- Responsible for assembly, debugging, installation, and start-up of new or modified production equipment - may involve mechanical assembly, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and controls installation
- Responsible for housekeeping and project organization, maintaining an organized and well equipped maintenance department
- Construct and install fixtures, repairs and adjust production equipment and assure optimum equipment operation
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and maintain equipment log book and spare parts inventory
- Maintain positive work relations with others and create and maintain a team environment
- Provide input into the development and upkeep of a plant preventative maintenance program
- Responsible for preventative maintenance, overhaul, and repair of production machinery and mechanical equipment
- Observe machinery or mechanical equipment in the plant and locate causes of trouble
- Dismantle equipment to gain access to and remove defective parts
- Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments
- Repair or replace defective parts
